"As a lifelong resident of Waterbury, a Public-School teacher and former Alderman, I believe strongly that it is important to stand up for our values. That is exactly what I’ve done as your voice in Hartford. We still face many challenges in the months and years ahead, and we need to continue protecting our neighborhoods and environment, helping our local business recover and meeting our children’s post-COVID needs. I will continue to protect our rights and stand up for seniors, veterans, and working families. We are in this together. It is an honor and privilege to serve as your State Representative." - State Rep. Ron Napoli Jr.

In 2018 Ron told the Republican American one of his priorities when he decided to run for State Representative was to provide car tax relief to Waterbury residents. “He said the financial burden of car taxes is unfair to the working families of Waterbury residents and if I’m elected to the CT General Assembly I plan to do something about it.” In 2022, Ron’s efforts cut Waterbury’s automobile taxes in half. This means tax relief to Waterbury residents and our local businesses.
